What You Will Need:
cupcake mix
cupcake liners
cupcake trays
aluminum foil
white frosting
green food coloring
toothpick
green licorice (like Twizzlers Rainbow Twists)
* * *
Directions:
1. Make cupcake batter according to the directions on the package. Place cupcake liners into cupcake trays and fill each one about half way.
* * *
2. For each cupcake, roll 3 balls of aluminum foil (mine were about 1/2 inch wide) and place them between the tray and the liner, spaced equally around the cupcake.
* * *
3. Bake cupcakes according to the directions on the box, but for slightly less time because the cupcakes aren't as full. When we made ours, it was for about 5 minutes less than on the package. Use the toothpick to determine where the cupcakes are done or not.
* * *
4. Let the cupcakes cool and then remove them from the trays.
* * *
5. Mix some of the green food coloring with the white frosting until you achieve the desired color. Cover each cupcake with the green frosting and add a piece of green licorice that is about 2 inches long.

Confession:
My daughter and I had SO much fun making these cupcakes and she is so excited to take them to school to share with her friends. After mixing up the cupcake mix, I realized that I had left my camera at my in-laws... they live over an hour away and it was too late to go get it. Sorry :(
I really do hope that you go check out this link - there is such an adorable picture of the finished product.

I know you will have as much fun making these as we did!!! Enjoy :)
